Free of charge Solar PV-system assessment for commercial farms in Zambia
The German Chamber of Commerce and Industry South Africa will support Zambian Commercial Farms by offering Solar PV-system assessment for free.
The Zambia Office of the German-Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK) and the initiative Energy Solutions Made in Germany are offering a free of charge Solar PV-system assessment for commercial Farms in Zambia.
They offer a preliminary assessment of the technical design and the economic feasibility of a suitable renewable energy system at farms.
The assessment will be conducted in the form of site visits that German Chamber of Commerce and Industry is offering in and around Chisamba, Kabwe and Mukushi on the following days:
Monday, October 30, 2017 – Chisamba
Tuesday, October 31, 2017 – Kabwe
Wednesday and Thursday, November 1 and 2, 2017 – Mkushi
The assessment is free of charge. In order to conduct the assessment, the following would be needed:
- An opportunity to meet with the ones interested at their farm
- Load profile or ZESCO bills (preferably last 12 month) as well as information about peak loads and power outages
- Information about rooftop area and condition of available land for solar PV installation
